RRROOOAAARRR Metal Karaoke launches Bloodstock campaign

Founder asks fans to say: We want RRROOOAAARRR!

RRROOOAAARRR Metal Karaoke, the UK's premier metal karaoke publisher, metal karaoke host and probably the only one of its kind, launches a campaign to bring its unique karaoke experience to Bloodstock Open Air, in response to comments made online by Bloodstock fans at an online public briefing by Bloodstock directors Adam Gregory and Vicky Hungerford on Tuesday.

During the course of the livestream, a number of watchers voiced their opinion on getting karaoke into Bloodstock.

Vicky read one comment out: "Wednesday Jessica says, 'Could we on the Wednesday do karaoke. That would be hilarious?' That's a good call. Campsite karaoke. That would be amazing." Adam chipped in, "Campsite karaoke, I like that. That's a good option." Vicky continued, "Yeah, we could do karaoke and could bring that in on the Wednesday for everyone, I mean, who doesn't like karaoke?"

The conversation continued in the comments. Pudz Jay from Burnage said, "Karaoke is brilliant," and Erica L Davidson from Manchester commented, "Definitely karaoke."

Today, RRROOOAAARRR Metal Karaoke founder Ferenc Collins, throws down the gauntlet, and puts himself forward as the only credible choice for the job. Says Collins, "Anyone who has been to the crazy karaoke experience that is RRROOOAAARRR Metal Karaoke over the past nine years knows how much fun and authentic this night is, whether it's at the Devonshire arms in Camden Town or at Voodoo at Electrowerks, or at one of our other venues that we occasionally operate at. Our night at the Dev is the most successful promotion the pub has ever run, and at Voodoo we've completely transformed the karaoke bar into a non-stop party zone. You have to see it to believe it, but having a concert-like atmosphere with the whole room singing along is just magical for all our singers. Can you imagine how amazing that would be in a bigger festival atmosphere? It'd be nuts!

Ferenc Collins is also known for his 18-year tenure as guitarist for anarcho-punk band Conflict, London thrashers Nightlord, organiser of Titanfest metal festival, and co-organiser of The Underground Titans Tour '92, proclaimed by some as the first underground metal tour package, in which he partnered with Jose Griffin, then of death metallers Gomorrah, now of Copro Records.

RRROOOAAARRR Metal Karaoke was established in 2015, and made its name as the UK's ultimate metal karaoke experience at Camden Town's premier metal venue the Devonshire Arms, known locally as "The Dev", by providing the craziest nights with the richest and most authentic rock atmosphere. With songs on the list from Queen to Slayer, from Lynyrd Skynyrd to Cannibal Corpse, you never quite know what's coming next, but whatever it is, you're going to want to sing along. This sort of unpredictability has created such an explosive impact that has made it so successful for the past 9 years!

In April 2023, RRROOOAAARRR Metal Karaoke became a permanent fixture at VOODOO ROCK, London's biggest rock club, and completely transformed the karaoke bar into a thriving party zone.

In November 2023, after producing karaoke videos for 8 years, RRROOOAAARRR Metal Karaoke became an international karaoke publisher as a member of the Global Karaoke Community, creating specialist karaoke videos to the Gold standard and publishing their library on YouTube, publishing one video per day and providing a request service for those who want to sing a new song: RRROOOAAARRR on YouTube.
